No, as the safety tube is made by extrusion of polycarbonate. This material preserves its characteristics between temperatures of -40 C and + 150 C.

Can the safety tube be used in cold stores ?
It can indeed be used in cold stores. Application of the safety tube in cold stores even has an additional advantage. Between the polycarbonate cover and the fluorescent lamp is a stationary air film that works as an isolator. This generates a higher temperature of the fluorescent lamp resulting in better light proceeds. (thus saving energy).

Will the safety tube let through UV light ?
The UV stabilised polycarbonate works as a UV block. This characteristic of the material makes application of the safety tube in shop-windows, exhibition spaces, museums and the textile business very interestin

Do you also sell to end users? Definitively your prices will be lower than those of the wholesaler !
No, we do not supply end users, only distributors. Doing so, we make use of the sales organisation of the distributor.

Can I sell the safety tube in my own name ?
During the production process we can attach a label (to be supplied by the customer) between the fluorescent lamp and the cover.
